What we store
To run the service, LazyCook stores:
- Your account: your email and a hashed password.
- Your body numbers: what you give in setup, such as birth date, sex, height, waist or body fat, gym days, your day’s clock, and your own macros if you set them.
- Weigh-ins, your plans and meals, your pantry, your shopping list and your settings.
- Chat text: the words of your questions in Ask and the answers.
We use these only to plan your meals and show them to you. We do not sell them, share them for advertising, or show ads.
Photos
A photo you send, of a pan in Ask or of a product for your pantry, is passed to the image and AI providers that read it and answer you. LazyCook does not store it. The chat keeps a note that there was a photo, not the photo itself.
Plate and step photos in the app are made from the recipe and product pictures, not from anything about you.
Who handles it
- Railway hosts the app and its database.
- OpenRouter passes chat questions and photos to the AI model that answers them.
- Replicate makes the plate and step photos. It gets recipe text and product pictures only.
- Cloudflare serves this site and sends account emails, such as a password reset.
Cookies
The app uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and a security cookie that protects its forms. This site sets no cookies and has no analytics or trackers.
Deleting your data
Email hello@lazycookapp.com from the address on your account and we will delete the account and everything linked to it. You can clear your chat yourself in Ask at any time.
